KISUMU Sh800 million for waste disposal

 KISUMU county government in collaboration with the French Development Agency has set aside Sh800 million for solid waste management under the Kisumu Urban Project. Executive committee member for Environment Rhoda Ahonobadha said the fund will be used to construct an ultra-modern sanitary land field where degradable and non degradable solid waste will be sorted out and manufactured into manure.
